How is technology affecting how teachers communicate with students? From access to tone, quite a bit actually.

Ness Crouch‘s insight:

Social media and technology have revolutionised how we communicate with students. Generally, children eagerly like using technology… teachers often less so. The advent of web 2.0 tools and social media makes it much easier for teachers and students to communicate regularly. I know people who set up private Facebook groups for their high school classes to allow studetns to discuss ideas and content and ask questions. I think this is a fantastic way of communicating.
